Time to head to the beach
So it's a little late... sorry about that. Here's the flyer for the upcoming beach activity. There's been a bit of confusion about this one. Last I heard, though, this is the finalized event. It is also now showing up on Facebook. The flyer is larger on the activities page if you want to see it.
We are NOT meeting at the church first as originally planned. Instead, head straight to the beach for some fun with friends in the sun and sand.
For easy reference, it's at Huntington State Beach. You should enter at the Magnolia St entrance and watch for the LDS MSA signs.
You'll be left to your own devices for lunch, but dinner will be served from around 5 - 6:30. And you should bring your own beach stuff (chairs, umbrellas, footballs, frisbees, sunscreen, and whatever).

Ontario Reign on October 19, 2013
Just got word of an upcoming activity. It's still a few weeks away, so plenty of time for planning.
The IE mid-singles will be going to Citizen's Business Bank Arena on October 19 to enjoy the opening night of the Ontario Reign Ice Hockey.
There will be a tailgating party beginning at 4:30pm with the game starting at 6pm.
I'm told that tickets are $9 if you buy them presale and then there is the additional parking charge of $5 (so check with other locals if you want to carpool).
Check the Upcoming Events page for a larger version of the flyer.

Something Else to do on New Year's Eve
There are plenty of things going on and plenty of things to do, and we're adding to that.
In case you don't want to drive out to Los Angeles or anything and would prefer something a little more low-key and local, the IE Midsingles are hosting an event.
The address is 903 Candy Dr, Corona and the time is from 830pm to 1230am. There is talk of games, movies, snacks and possibly Karaoke. This is not the warehouse style New Year's party like you see in LA-- this is a chance to hang out in a more intimate environment and enjoy one another's company.
Look on the upcoming activities page for a larger version of the flyer.

Also coming up we have a hike planned in the mountains. More information is also available in the "Upcoming Activities" tab.

It's not officially summer until there's talk of a beach party... and this is it!
We will be gathering between towers 3 and 4 at Huntington State Beach on July 19th. Food will be provided at 5pm, but you should bring your own chair, blanket, Frisbees, and friends (although some friends might be provided as well).
It will be about $15 to park (and this year we tried to not conflict with surfing competitions... so there should actually be room to park).
There is a flyer on the Upcoming Activities page.
If you have any questions, contact Jim Graves at 951-500-2282 or email at [email protected]

Time for a Beach Party
September 26, 2012
So how'd everyone enjoy the "movie in the park" sort of activity last month? I sure got my fill from The Habit food truck, made some new friends, and enjoyed the movie. I hope the weekend was nice for you as well.
As the year begins to draw to a close (I can say that now that I've seen Christmas decorations in my local Target store) there are still a few activities coming up. In the near future is our bi-regional activity at Riley's Farm. Check the Upcoming Activities tab for more information.
Hopefully you've found plans for Halloween. I've heard of numerous gatherings. Here's one that I'll post in the Upcoming tab as well:
Then after that is the holiday season. I'm already hearing words about the New Year's Eve party. Keep your ears open for it (I imagine it'll be on December 31, but other than that I don't have any details).

August 19, 2012
Ok, Ok, Ok. I'm lazy. I'm slothful. You're welcome to punch me in the arm at the next activity. It's been summer and I haven't updated anything on here in forever. Honestly, I wasn't sure that anyone was checking. So please provide feedback of some sort-- it'll help to keep me motivated. There were a few activities this summer that I hope you didn't miss out on.
In July we provided some community service and painted large portions of Pasadena High School. Last night we had an activity in Corona. The people who provided the location had an AMAZING set-up in their backyard where we enjoyed cheeseburgers and a viewing of The Pink Panther.
Enough of what is past. On to what it coming. The next multi-regional activity is approaching. There's a snapshot of the flyer to the left and a full version of it on the UPCOMING ACTIVITIES page.
I, as of yet, have no word on the October activity. November your stake will have to direct you where to go. And then in December you can look forward to ringing in the New Year with other MSAs at an OC dance (whose details will be announced as it gets nearer).
Keep an eye out for upcoming activities. Once more things have changed slightly. Where as we used to have a 5 mission activity every other month with our San Bernardino/ Riverside activities filling in the holes, there will now be fewer large activities and things should stay a little more localized. I'll be doing my best to keep you updated of everything of which I am made aware.
And I think that should cover it for now. Again, I am sorry for the lack of updating. I owe you a cookie. Or something.

January 31, 2012 - February and March Activities
While some of us still have full stomachs from In N Out and are still tapping our toes to the music from GoGo13 and My Superhero, we are already starting to look forward to the upcoming activities scheduled for our area. First, is the 21 stake activity planned for Feb. 18. It promises to provide excellent food and some fun with friends. You can check the Upcoming Activities tab for a larger image of the flyer.
Following that is our next huge Pasadena activity. On March 17 we will be back at the Pasadena stake center for our Western Hoe-Down where we will be able to enjoy everything from Western food, to Western dancing, to bull-riding. Yep. Bull-riding. The place is the same and the cost is $10. And again you are referred to the Upcoming Activities tab for a full-sized flyer for the activity.

January 9, 2012 - Catching up with the New Year
So Christmas has come and gone and the New Year is now under way. Due to some craziness around here, the website did not show any ways to celebrate, but here's hoping you found some fun on your own.
There have been plenty of activities in the local groups to keep us busy so far. There have been words of 80s parties in Corona and feasting on Farrell's in Cucamonga.
And now It's only January, but there are some big activities already planned for the year ahead. The first of which is just a couple weeks away. The next 5 mission activity is on January 28. The flyer here shows a little more information for you. A larger copy of the flyer is viewable on the "Upcoming Activities" tab.
Keep your eyes and ears open as the next couple months' activities are being planned as well. February's plans include a dinner of brisket, baked potatoes, and brownies as well as some activities. And in March we are looking forward to the possibility of a mechanical bull at our 5 mission Hoedown. Keep watching for flyers with more information to come along soon.
Also, feel more than welcome to check out all of the Facebook pages for other news. And if there's something you want posted here you can email any of that information to [email protected] .
Happy New Year and we'll see you for In N Out and fun on the 28th.

November 29, 2011 - Christmas is coming
With Thanksgiving behind us, it's now officially the Christmas season. In the midst of all your preparations hopefully you can find some time to join us at our activities. This upcoming weekend will bring us the Frist Presidency's Christmas Devtional. If you're looking for somewhere to view it you may want to try joining other midsingles for a potluck at the Victorville stake center. They'll be there at 5 for the fireside. A potluck will follow where potatoes will be provided, and you can bring a side dish or a dessert to share.
Also, as promised, we now have a couple flyers for our 21 stake combined activity on Dec. 17. One below and one on the Upcoming Activities page.
Plans are already in the makings for next year's activities, so keep coming back here for further info. And, in the meantime, enjoy a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Happy Thanksgiving!
It's a busy time of year for everyone, including us Mid-Singles in the Riverside and San Bernardino areas. Some activities have come and gone without much notice on here. The October activity at Lake Perris was an enjoyable one. Those in attendance enjoyed food and games and some general wandering around with new and old friends.
In case you missed it, we are now having even larger activities every other month combined with a few more missions. The first of these activities happened last weekend in Pasadena. There were about 350 people in attendance as well all enjoyed tacos, reverse-charades, a performance by The Society, and general good times. The next activity on this large of a scale will be happening in January with more information to follow.
There should be a flyer, soon, to show a little more about what's going on for our next 21 stake activity at 6:30 on December 17 at 11557 Redlands Boulevard, Moreno Valley. So keep an eye out for that.
We are also now on twitter @iemidsingles. Follow us there for up-to-date information on many more of the upcoming going-ons.
Now go, enjoy some turkey, and then enjoy some more. See you all soon.
